Growing Games CPH: Invest in Danish games?
Growing Games returns this year with yet another awesome line-up of seminars!
The 6th season of Growing Games will be kicked off March 23, with a discussion at the top industry level. The game developers screams for risk capital, but the investors are nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, big investments are being made in a crowded app market, in FinTech and MedTech - leaving our games completely in the dust. What is going on, why are the investors so reluctant to risk their money on games? Is there anything we should change in the way we think about investments or our companies? We will discuss these points and give concrete advice on what to do if you are looking for an investor for your project.
This time, you get a chance to meet David Helgason, founder of Unity Technologies and Business Angel with Nordic Makers, Jacob Andersen, Founder of Reto-Moto, Ali Emek, CEO at Logic Artists, as well as KooPee Hiltunen, Director of Neogames in Finland, as they start the discussion about why we lack big investments in the Danish game industry.
The model for Growing Games has changed for this season. The new seminars will be stronger, better and faster. Read more about the new plans here.
Please note: All guests will be required to sign an NDA.
CEOs and industry professionals with an interest in discussing the current investment situation, or interest in securing investments for a project.
Attendees will walk away with an increased knowledge about how investors work and evaluate projects, as well as ability to reflect upon their own projects and what makes then investment-ready or not - and fix the issues.
