In 2014 266 interactive companies employed a total of 1383 full-time employees. This is an increase of 40 companies or 18% compared to 2013, while employment is up by 125 FTEs, which constitutes a 10% increase compared to the year before. So a lot of new companies have joined the industry, but there has also been a positive growth among the existing companies. In 2014 there were 7 companies with more than 50 employees compared to just 5 the year before.
The turnover in the industry shows tremendous growth, and revenue in 2014 was Bn1,7 DKK (€230M) for all interactive content producers. This constitutes an increase of 35% compared to the year before.
