The yearly report from the Danish Producers association shows a small decline in revenue compared to the year before, down to 916M DKK. However, development in the total period from 2009 – 2017 is still very positive. Both employment and number of companies are up; employment by 25% to 1009 full-time positions and number of companies by 15% to 186.
The decline in revenue is primarily due to a decrease in reveue at the largest companies. This drop is somewhat offset by an increased activity in the small- and mid sized companies, that exhibit a healthy growth of 29%.
